Providing unique floristry design, mixed media textiles and creative workshops.
I have a small studio space in the creative quarter of Folkestone, a thriving and buzzing seaside town on the Kent coast. Surrounded by like-minded creatives, beautiful scenery, and vibrant colour makes me feel very lucky indeed. Inspiration for my work is often drawn from my home town.
I have many years of experience as a florist, originally working in Islington, London, and then moving on to open my own successful high street florist in my home town. I now work from a studio mainly providing flowers for weddings and events, with a wonderful supportive team of skilled florists on hand when working on large commissions.
As well as floristry I have a background in textiles, and you will often see a nod towards such in my floral designs. I offer an array of exciting creative workshops in crochet, knitting, felt making, and rug making alongside my floristry workshops. There is something for everyone, be it for the complete beginner to the advanced student.
.. and lastly, if you are wondering about my business name? My lemon coloured basset hound was never far from my side in all my creative adventures. He has sadly crossed the rainbow bridge, but his name and memory lives on.
Dogs are always welcome in the studio and we have refreshments for them too!
